Anthony Capaccio is the Pentagon correspondent for Bloomberg News. Capaccio graduated in 1973 from DePaul University in Chicago with a History B.A. He earned an M.A. in journalism from Marquette University, Milwaukee, in 1977. He has worked as copy boy and night police for the Milwaukee Journal in the mid-1970s. Capaccio worked for columnist Jack Anderson from 1977 to 1986 as an investigative associate. Capaccio worked from 1986 to 1997 for Defense Week, in Washington before joining Bloomberg in December 1997. Capaccio has won awards for spot news and best exclusives from the National Press Club and Newsletter Publishers' Association. He was named in an April 1997 National Journal survey as one of Washington's most influential journalists. Capaccio and his wife Bonnie S. Rollins live in Arlington, Virginia.
