Amy Wallace spent 11 years at the Los Angeles Times before moving to Los Angeles Magazine in late 2000. Previously, she was a reporter at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and her work has been published in Vanity Fair, The Nation and The New York Times. "Hollywood's Information Man," for which she is a Loeb Award finalist, is also a finalist for the National Magazine Award (profile category). A native Californian, Wallace is a graduate of Yale University. She lives in Los Angeles with her 5-year-old son, Jack.
