Aldo Svaldi

Aldo Svaldi has been a business reporter at the Denver Post since 2000, covering the economy, banking, finance and residential real estate. Before joining the Post, Svaldi worked at an online publication owned by The Financial Times and prior to that for The Denver Business Journal, where he co-authored a series on emergency medical care nominated as a Loeb Awards finalist in the weekly category. His stories have received recognition from the Colorado Press Association, the Society of Professional Journalists and the Society of American Business Editors and Writers.

A Colorado native, Svaldi holds a Master's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri and a bachelor's degree in European Studies from Phillips University. He was an intern with Arab News, an English language newspapers based in Saudi Arabia, during the first Gulf War, and was among the first group of journalists to enter Kuwait City after its occupation ended.
