Alan Judd is an investigative reporter for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. A native of Greensburg, Ky., he joined the newspaper in 1999. Judd spent more than nine years as a state capital reporter in Tallahassee for the New York Times regional newspapers in Florida. He has also worked for the Sarasota, Fla., Herald-Tribune and The Courier-Journal in Louisville, Ky. His honors include two Chairman’s Awards from the New York Times Co. and a commendation from the Brechner Center for Freedom of Information.
