Adam Levy, Bloomberg News' Atlanta Bureau Chief, opened Bloomberg's Southeast U.S. office in 1992. The bureau is responsible for news coverage in 11 southeastern states. Levy graduated from Haverford College with a B.A. in English and Philosophy in 1984. He spent four years as a research analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette before traveling around the world for two years. Levy co-authored `The People vs. Big Tobacco,' and has won several journalism awards, including ones from the Society of Professional Journalists and from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers. Levy is president of the Atlanta Press Club, He and his wife, Julia, have two sons and live in Decatur, Ga.
