The documents appearing here are from the early-1996 offering of a class for IT-oriented MBAs and Ph.D.'s titled "Electronic Networking for Professional Advantage."  Many people have asked me for copies of the materials, either for use in planning similar classes or for reference and self-instruction.  What appears here is fairly complete except for overhead slides, detailed session transcripts of each access mechanism in action, materials written by others, and numerous files placed in the directory class/ag/ on AGSM's HP 9000.  However, with the advent of the Web, the rapid pace of software development, and the ubiquity of graphic user interfaces nowadays, most of these documents are now obsolete or of interest only to people who work in a Unix environment.

These documents are in the form of (PCL) print files (.prt) that work with HP LaserJet (series 3 and higher) and compatible printers.  Reason: The masters are in Framework IV format, and do not convert easily to the popular formats or HTML.  You must download the .prt files (ASCII mode is fine), and then send them to your compatible printer via the operating system without passing them through any other program or filter.  In DOS, the command

type filename.prt > prn
will work, where filename.prt is one of these print files.  You cannot view print files with a Web browser, and I know of no useful way to import them into any word processor.  If you need a particular document in plain ASCII or in .FW4 format, ask me and I may oblige.   All are one or two pages unless otherwise noted.
