Andrew Ainslie is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management. He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Chicago, and an MBA and B Eng from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. His research uses Bayesian methodologies in several areas, including: Consumer behavior uncovered through choice modeling; new products and movie diffusion; and model performance and the effects of mis-specification. His primary interest is in using variance decomposition models to better capture heterogeneity across multiple dimensions. His work has been published in Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Research, amongst others. At The Anderson School, Professor Ainslie teaches the core marketing course to the full-time and fully employed MBA students. Professor Ainslie also teaches in several executive education programs. He has previously taught "Data-Driven Marketing" at Cornell University. |
