Biography

Marc Martos-Vila is an assistant professor of finance at UCLA Anderson since 2007. His research interests are in the area of corporate finance, more specifically, mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation, and the effects of financial frictions. Other areas of interest include contract theory, search theory and the links between finance and aggregate economic activity. He has been granted fellowships form the Bank of Spain and Princeton University. He worked at the Financial Systems division of the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C.
