Emotional Intelligence and Leadership: Generating Heart and Soul Commitment
Faculty - Jorge Cherbosque
Effective leadership is a key goal for many business practitioners. One challenge that most leaders face is an over-reliance on one or two core leadership styles that emerge from (or are constrained by) their personality. In uncertain times, however, it is even more critical that leaders identify and learn how to broaden their leadership style portfolio so that they have the capacity to deliver added value and ensure strategic success in any complex situation. In this session you will:
- Measure your personal level of emotional intelligence, "E.Q."
- Develop an understanding of your own strengths as a leader as they relate to "E.Q."
- Evaluate how you might successfully use other "E.Q." leadership styles
- Consider how to use this knowledge and tools provided to identify specific actions you can take that will enhance the effectiveness of your leadership
