Director's Welcome

Embracing Diversity 2012
November 18, 2012

Welcome from the Interim Director of MBA Admissions

Alex Lawrence

We welcome you to join us for our upcoming Embracing Diversity event at UCLA Anderson on November 18, 2012. This event will provide you with an opportunity to experience UCLA Anderson up front and learn what makes our MBA Programs a top choice for students from around the world.

During the course of the event you will gain an insider's perspective on UCLA Anderson as you attend student panels, visit with alumni and current students, learn about career opportunities post-graduation, and sit in on a class. You'll discover a learning environment informed by academic, professional, geographic, and cultural student diversity - a balanced community built upon respect.

At the end of the event, you will have discovered:

  • that the intellectual capital that drives our school prepares our students for a lifetime of career progression-across all industries and functions,
  • how our community creates a springboard for career exploration and growth in the diverse "learning laboratory" of Los Angeles, and
  • that from Los Angeles to Wall Street to the Latin American and Pacific Rims, we are redefining management to integrate traditional interests in economic growth with sustainability, philanthropy, and the social good.

Please contact my colleague, Vickie Euyoque, Associate Director of MBA Admissions and Financial Aid, with any questions you have about the event.

Apply now as space is limited. If you are unable to attend, please join us at one of our other events in 45 cities and 20 countries around the world.

We look forward to meeting you.

Sincerely,

Alex Lawrence
Director of MBA Admissions
