2. Accept Our Offer


After you are admitted, save your seat in the class by sending the listed items, in one package, to the MBA Admissions Office before your admission offer expires. Make sure you read this checklist carefully and contact our office if you have any questions. (Please do NOT send any documents before being admitted.)

Submit UCLA Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) and Statement of Legal Residency (SLR). Links to these forms with instructions will be emailed to you from UCLA Graduate Division.

Please see your own University ID (UID) number in your admission letter then read all the instructions carefully to "Activate a UCLA Logon ID" to set up your school account.  It will only be fully activated when you get the approval email from UCLA Graduate Division.

NOTE: Within 3-4 weeks after we receive your complete document package, UCLA Graduate Division must approve that you meet all requirements for graduate admission. They will send you an email directly with their approval and links to submit required forms, apply for housing, and learn about other important activities.  Please watch for this key approval email from UCLA_Application_Decision@gdnet.ucla.edu to proceed with required steps.

NOTE: After all of your documents have been received:

  • MBA Admissions will verify all of your documents and then update your status screen within Apply Yourself so you can check your status online.
  • You can accept our admission offer and pay your non-refundable tuition deposit by following the link within your online decision letter.
  • UCLA's Graduate Division must also verify all of your documents and requirements to approve your admission, then they will send you their decision email within 3-4 weeks of our receipt of your official academic records.
  • Follow the links within the email from UCLA Graduate Division to register for housing and other services, and to submit the required forms: the Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) and Statement of Legal Residence (SLR).
  • Please note: No deferrals are allowed, as admission offers are only valid for enrollment the same year.  Admits who decide not to accept the offer must follow the instructions for Reapplicants -- and being admitted again is likely but not guaranteed.
