International Students

Citizens from around the world form a vital part of each MBA class, with about 1/3 of our students coming from outside the USA. Every UCLA Anderson student develops a global perspective on management and leadership thanks in part to the expertise shared by classmates from all regions. This is why we carefully select those who will come and thrive in our collaborative culture, sharing and receiving alike. Extra resources and workshops are available to help prepare international students for the fast-paced MBA so that they can be active contributors from day one.

Admits are considered international students according to the primary passport with which they applied. Non-U.S. citizens with Permanent Resident status (known as a "green card") are still counted as international, although they do not need a student visa. All other international citizens must submit additional documentation to us in order to obtain authorization for a student visa before entering the USA in mid-August.

Our goal is to ensure a smooth landing in Los Angeles for everyone in the incoming MBA class. Please read all the information on this admit portal website, and keep in touch with us in the MBA Admissions office, to ensure that everything is in order for your arrival. We look forward to welcoming the world here again this summer!
