Enhancing the Learning Experience
We value ethnic, cultural and professional diversity. Our community reflects the global perspective that permeates our curricula, organizations and activities.
Our students hail from over 50 countries in any given year and 47 study abroad partnerships with international universities add to the dynamic experiences available to our students. We are also proud that Veteran military officers and service personnel are a strong contingent in every class.
We feature several diversity programs and events on campus:
Women and the MBA (Monday, November 19th, 2012)
Women in the MBA at UCLA Anderson addresses important issues affecting women in business in a highly interactive setting where you can speak with and hear from admissions officers, faculty members, female alumni, and female students. Co-hosted by UCLA Anderson's Women's Business Connection club (WBC), this event is open for all to attend. Click here for more information and to register.
Embracing Diversity (held in the fall)We recognize the value in having a student body that is truly representative of the business world. Throughout the day, you will receive an in-depth introduction to this philosophy through an array of workshops, class sessions, social activities, career round tables and leadership development exercises. If you choose to stay an extra day, you will also have the opportunity to visit a class.
Riordan Fellows Program
The Riordan Fellows Program educates, prepares, and motivates college students and recent graduates to apply to and succeed in a top MBA program. Fellows attend eight monthly Saturday sessions and have an opportunity to interact with an MBA admissions representative who provides guidance and information on admissions topics.
We also have many partnerships and off-campus events:
Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT)
The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management (CGSM)
Ten School Diversity Alliance (TSDA)
The California Forum for Diversity in Graduate Education
