Online Application Yes All applicants must apply to the MBA program online. Applications will be accepted for fall 2013 starting August 7, 2012. The application fee is $200.
4-year Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Yes Candidates must hold a completed undergraduate degree in order to enroll in our MBA program.  Usually this is a 4-year bachelor's degree, or its equivalent in other countries.  International applicants with just a 3-year undergraduate degree may be admitted if the Admissions Committee determines that their entire academic profile and overall application are strong enough.
GMAT Yes

All applicants must take the GMAT, but there is no minimum score. For an idea of the typical range we admit, see the latest class profile.

For fall 2013 admission, the GMAT test date must be between April 1, 2008 - April 30, 2013 for scores to be valid, but not later than the deadline date of the round in which the applicant is applying.

If you take the test more than once, we will primarily consider your highest score.

We strongly prefer the GMAT as a standard by which to evaluate all applicants, but we will accept GRE scores instead (to order ETS to send a score report to the UCLA Anderson MBA program, the school code is 0771).
Work Experience No Although the majority of our students do have full-time work experience, early career and college senior prospective students may still apply.
Recommendations Yes No more than two letters of recommendations from individuals who are well acquainted with your performance in a work setting. One of the letters should preferably be from a direct supervisor.
Essays Yes Two required essays, in document form only. One optional essay may also be submitted to supply information on extenuating circumstances.
Interviews By invitation Interviews are conducted on an invitation basis only after submitted applications are reviewed, and an interview must be completed to be admitted to the program.
TOEFL / IELTS Conditionally

TOEFL or IELTS scores are required of all applicants EXCEPT those who were educated solely in English for their undergraduate and/or prior graduate degree.

Applicants from non-English-speaking countries are not required to take the TOEFL or IELTS tests if their academic documents confirm that all degree coursework was completed in English.

Please note that work experience in English is not sufficient for a TOEFL/IELTS waiver; the key factor is being educated in English.
