Alex Lawrence Picture

Alex Lawrence
Assistant Dean of MBA Admissions and Financial Aid

Alex Lawrence, Class of 1999, became the Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid in August 2012.  He had been the Executive Director of The Riordan Programs at UCLA Anderson since 2004, working with Professor Bill Ouchi and Riordan Programs' founder Mayor Richard Riordan to advance high school and undergraduate students' development and educational attainment.  Prior to his leadership of the Riordan Programs, Alex worked at Cap Gemini, where he developed CRM strategies and trained clients in the automotive, medical and insurance industries.

As Executive Director of Riordan, Alex developed creative programs and initiatives which target students who are the first in their family to apply to college, current undergraduates, or professionals seeking an MBA degree. Program achievements include a 100% success rate of high school participants continuing to college, and nearly 70% of Riordan MBA Fellows obtaining their MBA at the nation's elite business schools.

Craig Hubbell

Craig Hubbell
Director of Operations

Craig became Director of Operations for MBA Admissions in 2012, after several years as the primary international admissions officer here.  Recruiting travels took him to 28 countries on 5 continents so far, though now he spends more time on campus running operations. Craig's main interests have always been international, from his degree at Pomona College to his work at Euro Disney in Paris doing business planning with multi-cultural teams.  Most recently Craig led the MBA Admissions conversion to a paperless process with iPad evaluations.  Smoothing the admissions process and delivering the best possible MBA class has been his passion all century.  



Jessica Chung
Associate Director

Jessica is an associate director with the full-time MBA Admissions office at UCLA Anderson. Her responsibilities include managing our social media initatives, overseeing our global recruiting strategy, and being our point person for our 10 joint degree programs. She received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and her Master's degree in Education from UCLA's Graduate School of Education & Information Studies.



Vickie Euyoque
Associate Director

Vickie's first interaction with UCLA Anderson was as an undergraduate student. After graduating from UCLA, she began her career in admissions working for the Fully Employed MBA Program (FEMBA) on the UCLA Anderson campus. After several years, Vickie was promoted to associate director of Admissions for the FEMBA Program. Although she greatly enjoyed her work, in October of 2007 she decided that it was time to expand her admissions knowledge and was promoted to associate director of MBA Admissions.



Adrian Aguirre
Associate Director

Adrian is an associate director in the Office of MBA Admissions & Financial Aid at UCLA Anderson. A graduate of UCLA Anderson (FEMBA Class of 2001), he is happy to be back once again at his alma mater. Originally from Peru, Adrian has lived in the U.S. since 1987, completing both his undergraduate and graduate education at UCLA. He has extensive corporate experience in direct response marketing, U.S. Hispanic marketing, and training and development. Most recently, he headed a consulting practice focused on workplace training and development for California Manufacturing companies.

Lindsay Haselton
Associate Director

Lindsay joined UCLA Anderson in August 2010. Her specialty at UCLA Anderson is women's outreach, and her passion is traveling to as many global and domestic destinations as possible to meet prospective applicants. In addition, she oversees the design and production of the MBA program's printed marketing pieces. Prior to joining UCLA Anderson, Lindsay worked in MBA Admissions and career services at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada for 4 years. Originally from the UK and Canada, she received her bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Victoria, Canada and her Master's degree in Political Science from UBC.

Ji Choi

Ji Choi
Director of Financial Aid

Ji joined the full time MBA Admissions and Financial Aid Office in September of 2010 as the director of financial aid. Prior to joining UCLA Anderson, Ji served as the Director of Financial Aid for Otis College of Art and Design for 8 years. Ji earned her B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley.

 



Andy Promsiri
Assistant Director of Financial Aid

Andy joined the Anderson MBA Admissions and Financial Aid Office in September of 2008. As an assistant director of financial aid, his primary responsibilities are to support the administration and to disseminate information regarding fellowships, federal, and private student loan programs to the MBA students.Prior to joining MBA Admissions and Financial Aid Office, Andy served as the supervisor at the UCLA Central Financial Aid Office for over 20 years. He graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's degree in psychology. He is actively involved in the financial aid community and served on a committee for the 2012 California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrator Conference (CASFAA).

Jessica Christopher

Jessica Christopher
Associate Director and Career Advisor
HR, Marketing, Retail & Operations

Jessica has worked in the Parker CMC since 2001 and has successfully counseled students, assisting with the entire career search process from self-assessment to implementation. In addition, she manages the ACT Coach Program and Anderson Career Teams (ACT), organizes the career portion of Orientation and works closely with UCLA Anderson student clubs, as well as companies looking to hire MBA students. Before joining the Parker CMC, Jessica was a recruiter for BrainTrust, a small niche staffing firm. Here she helped build the Los Angeles office reading countless resumes/cover letters, interviewing candidates, meeting with a variety of companies and working closely with both clients and job seekers throughout the entire placement process. In addition to recruiting, Jessica has also worked full-time for a small advertising agency, Cass Communications and spent her summers while an undergraduate interning for a number of sports and entertainment companies, including the Oakland A's, IMG and Prime Sports (now Fox Sports Net).

Jessica holds a BA in Psychology from Stanford University and a Master's degree in Education from the Counseling in Student Affairs program here at UCLA. She is also a graduate of the UCLA Anderson Executive Program in Management.

Cooley

David Cooley
Associate Director, External Relations and Career Advisor

David joined the Parker CMC in August 2006. In addition to his role as a careeer advisor, he is working to enhance corporate and recruiter relationships with potential employers of UCLA Anderson MBAs. Prior to joining Parker CMC, David was a career coach and corporate trainer for Drake Beam Morin (DBM), one of the world's largest executive outplacement companies. Founder of Careers With Impact!, a private executive and career coaching practice, he has coached clients from such organizations as Sun Microsystems, The Walt Disney Company, E! Entertainment, AT&T, Gilead Sciences, as well as a large number of MBA students from other top universities and business schools including Harvard University, USC's Marshall School of Business and Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management. David's prior career experience includes positions in corporate communications and public relations at Vivendi Universal, Sony Pictures Entertainment and the City of Los Angeles.

David received a BFA degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, is certified in Individual and Organizational Coaching from The Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, and is a graduate of the UCLA Anderson Executive Program in Management.

Durrant

Amanda Durrant
Executive-in-Residence

Amanda joined the Parker CMC in winter 2007 as an Executive-in-Residence to complement our existing career advisor program by providing a different perspective of what it takes to be successful once you are in the workplace. Amanda has over 20 years experience with BP, a major multi-national oil and gas company. Amanda has been responsible for overseeing the delivery of key business/commercial processes in countries throughout the world including Azerbaijan, Egypt, Russia, and the United Kingdom. As Vice-President of Commercial in Azerbaijan and Egypt, her role also included management of Finance and Control, IT, Facilities and Services. During this time she participated in major negotiations with the State Oil Companies to access new business opportunities and also conclude a number of Acquisitions & Divestments.

Amanda is a graduate of Aberdeen University, Scotland.

Han

Phil Han
Director, Recruiting Operations and Career Advisor
Healthcare and High Tech

Phil joined UCLA Anderson in August 2004 as a Career advisor. In late 2007, Phil transitioned into his role as the Director of Recruiting Operations, supervising the Parker CMC's Recruiting Team and overseeing on-campus recruiting operations, data and technology management, and office logistics. He also manages and develops several employer accounts to facilitate their campus recruiting activities and strengthen the connections to UCLA Anderson students. 

Prior to joining the Parker CMC, Phil was a Career Advisor at Claremont Graduate University, working with graduate students in business, organizational psychology, and economics. He also taught middle and high school science in New York City for four years.

Phil has a BS in biology and psychology from the University of Michigan, an MA in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.



Regina Regazzi
Executive Director, Corporate Relations

Regina joined Parker CMC in October 2010. Prior to joining, Regina founded and ran Artume LLC, an executive recruiting and career consulting firm. Her executive recruiting career began at Spencer Stuart, a major international firm and continued at PrinceGoldsmith, a New York-based boutique firm. In both places, she concentrated on financial services recruiting, focusing on asset management. Prior to executive recruiting, Regina worked in originations for Bank of America's Leasing and Capital Group. Early in her career, Regina worked for Greenwich Associates, a financial services market research and consulting firm, known for its benchmarking studies. Throughout her career, she has been providing career guidance to a range of people from recent college graduates to high-level executives.

Regina graduated from UCLA Anderson in 1997 and just finished her term as president of UCLA Anderson's alumni board of directors. She has been involved in UCLA Anderson alumni activities since graduating, including as president of the Bay Area chapter, alumni board chair of chapter presidents, and she has also worked with admissions and development. She received the Outstanding Alumni Service Award in 2005 and was chosen as one of the 100 Inspirations as part of the school's 75th anniversary celebration. Regina received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Colgate University.

Stahl

Sally Stahl
Director, MBA Career Advising and Education
Entrepreneurship, Real Estate, VC and Campus Centers

Sally rejoined the Parker CMC in October 2004, after having held a similar position at the USC Marshall School of Business for six years. Prior to Marshall, she was a advisor at the Parker CMC for over seven years. She is currently on the Executive Board for the MBA Career Services Council and a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers. Before UCLA Anderson, she was at the Los Angeles Times newspaper, where she was a member of the Executive Steering Committee and a Group Facilitator for over thirteen cross-functional problem-solving teams. Simultaneously, she was an Adjunct Professor teaching group process in a Master's program at Azusa Pacific University. Sally started her career as an Escrow Officer and then immediately moved into sales and marketing for Continental Airlines.

Sally's undergraduate degree was from UCLA, she has an MA in Human Resource Development from Azusa Pacific University and is a graduate of the UCLA Anderson Executive Program in Management.

Taylor

Emily Taylor
Associate Director, Career Education and Communications
Startups, Social Impact & Human Resources

Emily joined the Parker CMC in 2011. Previously, she was the Vice President of Talent at Revolution Prep, the largest classroom based SAT test prep provider in the country. As VP, she oversaw Human Resources, Recruiting, Training & Development, Internal Communications and Company Culture. Previously, as the National Director of Training & Instruction, she served as the product manager for the core product and ran the Entrepreneurial Management Program.

As a member of the UCLA Anderson Class of 2008, Emily was the Lead Fellow for Management Development for Entrepreneurship, the MBA Orientation Director, and a strategic consultant for the Johnson & Johnson Management Fellows Program. Before business school, Emily was an Assistant Professor of Sociology, and the founder of Taylor Academic Consulting, which provided college counseling, test prep & subject tutoring in the Sacramento area.

Emily was awarded a BA in Psychology and an MA in Sociology from Stanford University and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.

Bevan

Jennifer Chow Bevan
Career Advisor
Management Consulting and Marketing

Jennifer joined the Parker CMC in September 2008 and coaches students on the development and implementation of their career management strategies and personal marketing plans. In addition to coaching, she partners with the Recruiting team on corporate outreach to develop strategic recruiting relationships with prospective employers. Jennifer brings over a decade of business experience in various industries. Upon earning her MBA from The Wharton School in 2001, Jennifer joined Bain & Company as a Consultant in the San Francisco office where she served Fortune 500 companies on a variety of strategic business issues. After Bain, she transitioned to brand management at Neutrogena Corporation where she was an Associate Product Director responsible for new product development and marketing strategy for numerous brands within the Cosmetics and Anti-Aging Skincare businesses. Most recently, Jennifer brought her MBA perspective to City Hall as a marketing and development consultant to Mayor Villaraigosa's public school reform effort, The Partnership for Los Angeles Schools. Prior to earning her MBA, Jennifer began her career in New York City as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan & Co., and a management consultant at A.T. Kearney.

Jennifer holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from M.I.T, and an MBA from the Wharton School. She is also a graduate of The Coaches Training Institute.
