Applied Finance Project
The Applied Finance Project (AFP) provides MFE candidates the opportunity to apply knowledge acquired through MFE coursework to a practical, real-world financial engineering issue by partnering with a corporate client. The program is intended to help students develop and showcase their knowledge of quantitative finance, hone their communication skills and delve more deeply into an area of interest beyond the opportunities offered in the MFE coursework.
This year's AFP projects range from areas including quantitative trading strategies, portfolio management, risk management, hedging, and derivatives valuation and come from top organizations including: PIMCO, Citi, PwC, Aspirant, Accenture, AXA Rosenberg, Hyundai Capital, and Research Affiliates. Students are required to interact directly with clients -- allowing students the opportunity to gain exposure to potential employers.
