The application for November 2015 entry will be live in the Fall of 2014. In order for the Admissions Committee to review your application, you must complete the following requirements:
All applicants must apply to the MFE program online. Applications will be accepted for November 2015 entry starting in Fall 2014.
|Application Fee||Yes||A non-refundable application fee of $200 is required. This fee is paid by credit card when submitting the online application. The application fee is not refundable under any circumstances, regardless of the admission outcome.|
Transcripts from all educational institutions attended must be uploaded in the online application. Original transcripts or documents are only required after you have been admitted.
Candidates must hold at least a 4-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a college or university of full recognized standing.
All applicants must take either the GMAT or GRE exam. The GMAT or GRE score is valid for 5 years and the admissions committee looks at the highest scores if the test was taken more than once.

|Letters of Recommendation||Yes||Two letters of recommendation (submitted online) are required from individuals who are well acquainted with your performance in a work setting, preferably a direct supervisor. If you have been working less than 2 years, you may include academic recommendations in place of professional recommendations.|
|Essays||Yes||Applicants must complete two required essays in the MFE Supplemental section of the Graduate Division application. One optional essay may also be submitted to supply additional information you think would help us evaluate your potential to succeed in the MFE program.|
|Employment History/Resume||Yes||Work or research experience in a quantitative discipline is recommended, but not required. Please complete the Employment History portion of the application completely and upload a resume. Include all full-time and intern positions you have held, and account for any employment gaps since college.|
|TOEFL / IELTS||Maybe||
TOEFL or IELTS scores are required of all applicants whose native language is not English. The TOEFL/IELTS is also required for students who attended a university where the medium of instruction was English, but the official language of the country was not English.
International students who hold a bachelor's degree or higher from a university located in the United States, England, Canada or Australia or who have completed at least 2 years of full-time study at such an institution are exempt from these requirements.

|Interview||By Invitation||Interviews are conducted on an invitation basis. Once an application is completed the Admissions Committee may request an interview with a prospective student.|
