Admission Requirements & Fees

Admission Requirements
Each prospective candidate is expected to satisfy the admission requirements of both UCLA Anderson School of Management and UAI Escuela de Negocios. These include:

  • Significant full-time work experience (ten years recommended) and a current position with high-level managerial responsibility.
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree with above-average academic performance.
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) if the applicant's first language is not English and if he or she did not graduate from a university where English is the medium of instruction.
  • Non-refundable application fee estimated at US$200.
  • Corporate sponsorship is encouraged.

Application Process
A fully completed application includes the following sections (detailed information on all these materials and comprehensive application instructions are included on the application form):

  • Completed application form.
  • Three essays.
  • Official College and University transcripts and other academic records.
  • Three letters of evaluation.
  • Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score report (optional).
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score report (where applicable).
  • Non-refundable application fee estimated at US$200.

Upon receipt of your complete application, the program office may contact you to schedule a personal interview. This provides prospective candidates the opportunity to elaborate on and personalize their application.

We strongly recommend that you start the process as early as possible. We prefer that certain documents, i.e. official University transcripts, letters of recommendation and standardized test reports (where applicable) be sent directly by third parties, for example the Registrar of a previously attended institution. However, if there is reason to believe it will be difficult for us to receive these materials in this way, then candidates may collect them and send them to the program office.

The time taken by some third parties may exceed the applicant's initial estimate and subsequently delay the application. We strongly recommend that you initiate the process as early as possible to allow for any unexpected and unforeseen delays. Our experience suggests that some third parties can take up to two months to send all the necessary documents after the applicant's initial request. Please plan accordingly and allow sufficient time for these documents to be sent and received.

We have a continuous admission process. Applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received and admission offers are made on a continuous basis.

Program Fees
Program fee is US $105,000. Student Charges include the cost of courses, academic materials, and most meals for each residential segment. The cost of travel, accommodations and miscellaneous expenses are not included in the student charges and must be borne separately by each participant.
