The Executive MBA Program offer 6 certificate programs to supplement the MBA degree. An official certificate of completion will be provided upon satisfying the certificate program requirements.
Certifications may be earned in the following areas:
- Advanced International Management (AIM)
- Leaders in Sustainability
- Easton Technology Leadership Program
This certificate is designed for students who are interested in assuming international leadership positions through an integrated focus on global research, course work and innovative programs.
This certificate is aimed at students interested in developing the skills necessary to start and successfully run their own business, work in a start-up venture, and/or create new initiatives in an established company. Note that for this certificate, 10 credit units are required. However, an additional course, Managing and Financing the Emerging Enterprise, which will be offered over all three academic quarters, is strongly suggested.
A finance certificate is available to students interested in demonstrating that they have gone beyond the two required courses in finance. To fulfill this requirement, students must earn at least 12 credit units by taking finance electives. Elective courses may be taken in the EMBA elective block sessions or the FEMBA and full-time MBA Programs (where enrollment is permitted on a space-available basis). back to top

Leaders in Sustainability allows students to create a program tailored to their needs and background, by choosing among the sustainability related opportunities at UCLA. Students take a core course in sustainability and relevant electives and participate in leadership training. Additionally, students have a positive impact on the community as they learn experientially by collaborating on client projects for local businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies. Leaders in Sustainability students also give themselves a career edge by developing a broad knowledge of topics that are increasingly relevant to employers. The Easton Technology Leadership Program offers a comprehensive technical leadership concentration that equips graduates with the leadership preparedness, management knowledge and entrepreneurial disposition to succeed in diverse technical settings – from small start-ups to larger global technology corporations. EMBAs may apply to the Easton program during the Fall quarter in their first or second year at UCLA Anderson, with the ideal time being in the first year.
