Pre-paid commencement parking permits will be available at Transportation & Parking Services lobby beginning May 13, 2013 between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or on commencement day for $11.00.

The UCLA Central Ticket Office is also selling pre-paid permits after May 22, 2013 and is open Monday - Friday 10:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. 

By purchasing your permits in advance, you and your guests can avoid the expected long lines. Advance purchase guarantees parking in Lots 4 or 7. Parking permits may be purchased on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Special Parking Needs

Disabled and mobility impaired only - Accessible parking is available for disabled and elderly persons near most venues in many parking structures and lots. All vehicles must have a UCLA parking permit and, if parking in areas reserved for disabled or elderly persons either a DMV handicapped plate or placard or a UCLA Office for Students with Disabilities-issued identification card. Parking permits, which cost $11.00, are available through Transportation & Parking Services and the UCLA Central Ticket Office prior to Commencement Weekend and at Parking/Information Booths on the day of Commencement. The parking fee for vehicles displaying any state-issued handicap plate or placard is $4.

The Office for Students with Disabilities will begin distribution of Parking Identification cards in May, 2013. Please call (310) 825-1501, e-mail emcclosk@saonet.ucla.edu or stop by the office at A-255 Murphy Hall.

Drop-off spots may be even more accessible and much closer to many of the venues. Please see the chart below. Vehicles cannot park at drop-off spots longer than required to load or unload passengers. The Wilson Plaza drop off spot is near the entrance to Lot 4.

All Commencement venues are ADA-Compliant and wheelchair seating is available at all Commencement venues.

Alternate Driving Directions

From the Valley:
Proceed over the canyon via Beverly Glen or Coldwater Canyon. This connects from Ventura Blvd and can be used as an alternate route if coming from the Central Valley/Van Nuys/Studio City locations. Once on the other side of the hill crossing Mulholland Drive, continue driving Southbound on either canyon road (Beverly Glen or Coldwater) to Sunset Blvd. Make a Right onto Sunset driving Westbound towards the North side of UCLA's campus. When reaching the stop signal at Hilgard and Sunset, make a left heading southbound on Hilgard to the Wyton/Hilgard entrance to the campus. The attendants at the Information Kiosk will then direct you to the primary parking for the event, LOT 3.

From Beverly Hills:
Proceed Westbound on Wilshire to Beverly Glen Drive. Make a right heading Northbound on Beverly Glen. At the stop signal for Comstock, you can make a sharp left onto Comstock AND Wyton at the same time. These two streets fork and separate; stay to the left proceeding up the Wyton hill veering away from Comstock. Wyton will continue through neighborhood streets along houses until it reaches a stop signal which connects to Hilgard (crosstreet). Proceed straight across Hilgard into the Wyton/Hilgard Information Kiosk. Attendants in the Information Kiosk will then direct you to the primary parking for the event, LOT 3.

From LAX/South Bay communities:
Exiting northbound 405 at the Wilshire East off-ramp, continue Eastbound on Wilshire to the stop signal at Glendon Ave. Making a left heading Northbound on Glendon, immediately merge to the right lane to turn right onto Lindbrook Drive (This will be the first crosstreet). Proceeding Eastbound on Lindbrook Dr., veer left continuing Northbound at the connecting corner of Hilgard Avenue. Drive Northbound on Hilgard until you reach Wyton. Make a left, driving into the Wyton/Hilgard entrance to the campus. The attendants in the Information Kiosk will then direct you to the primary parking for the event, LOT 3.

From Santa Monica/Brentwood communities:
Avoiding Sunset during peak hours, proceed Eastbound on Wilshire underneath the 405. Crossing Sepulveda and entering Westwood, refer to directions for South Bay communities.

From West LA/West Hollywood communities:
Proceed Northbound on San Vicente/or Westbound on Santa Monica Blvd which will connect to Wilshire. Continue Westbound on Wilshire through Beverly Hills and refer to directions for the Beverly Hills communities.

From Century City/North Culver City communities:
Proceed Westbound on Pico, Olympic, or National making a right heading Northbound on Westwood Blvd. After crossing Wilshire, make a right on Lindbrook Drive. Proceeding Eastbound on Lindbrook Dr., veer left continuing Northbound at the connecting corner of Hilgard Avenue. Drive Northbound on Hilgard until you reach Wyton. Make a left, driving into the Wyton/Hilgard entrance to the campus. The attendants in the Information Kiosk will then direct you to the primary parking for the event, LOT 3.
