Description
One of the largest and oldest cultural clubs at UCLA Anderson, the Asian Management Students Association (AMSA) is dedicated to creating a network of students, alumni and prominent business leaders who are interested in initiatives that affect Asian-Americans in business as well as the cultural community. Through networking events both within the Anderson community and externally with Asian professional organizations and other Asian MBA associations, AMSA serves to enhance the professional, recruiting and social experience of Anderson students. In addition, AMSA recognizes the importance of combining business with cultural awareness and actively supports diversity initiatives throughout the Anderson community. AMSA currently has 150 members and over 1,000 alumni.

- This is the first welcome event to get new AMSA members acclimated with the Anderson culture and introduce them to fellow 2nd year students
- Back-to-School Party
- One of the biggest AMSA events of the year, the back-to-school party is a clubbing night that sets the tone for awesome AMSA parties throughout the year
- Women's Networking Brunch
- Gathers successful Asian-American women executives with AMSA members to share career stories and encourage networking and relationship-building
- Dinner for 8's
- AMSA's intimate Dinner for 8's gathers executives from highly-regarded companies with AMSA members. This is one a key event to foster important career connections and prepare students for on-campus interviews
- SoCal MBA Mixers
- Quarterly mixers and networking events with other Asian associations from various MBA schools in Southern California
- Alumni Mixers
- Highly successful networking event linking successful AMSA alumni with current students to foster mentoring relationships
- Graduate School Mixer
- Networking mixer with other UCLA graduate schools
- Lunar New Year Dinner
- Co-sponsored event with Great China Business Association (GCBA) to celebrate the Chinese New Year
- Asian MBA Vegas Weekend
- Capstone event of the year where AMSA travels to Vegas to mix and mingle with Asian organizations from other top business schools, including HBS, Wharton, Columbia, Kellogg, etc.
