Steve Layton is a Principal and co-founder of LBA and has over 26 years of real estate experience. Since co-founding LBA, he has been responsible for overseeing all of the company's operations, management and personnel, including management of over 34 million square feet of office and industrial space. Additionally, he is responsible for managing LBA's corporate relationships to facilitate the leasing, selling, and acquisition of corporate real estate. He is also a member of LBA's Investment Committee.
Prior to forming LBA, Mr. Layton was Senior Vice President of the Southern California Division of The Koll Company, where he oversaw and coordinated the development of four million square feet of office and mixed-use projects in Orange and San Diego counties.
Mr. Layton holds a B.A. degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a licensed real estate broker, a former board member of NAIOP SoCal and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
