Sarah Mercurio is the Assistant Director of Student and Alumni Programs for the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate. Ms. Mercurio is responsible for the management and development of all Ziman Center programs, including student, alumni and industry events. She oversees the activities and strategy for the Anderson Real Estate Association, Real Estate Law Association, Bruin Real Estate Association and UCLA Ziman Real Estate Alumni Group.
Prior to coming to the Ziman Center, Ms. Mercurio worked in the energy efficiency sector. As a Program Analyst for Southern California Edison's Residential Energy Efficiency group, Ms. Mercurio assisted in the development and implementation of local and statewide customer programs, including web-based customer information initiatives and several K-12, Community College, and University education programs. Before working with Southern California Edison, Ms. Mercurio coordinated campus-based education and energy-saving projects as Team Manager of the CSU San Bernardino PowerSave Campus Program (previously Green Campus).
Ms. Mercurio holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a Master's degree in Composition from CSU San Bernardino, where she researched urban green space, specifically city parks, and their role in the social construction of wilderness.
