Paige Serden is senior vice president and regional manager in City National Bank's Real Estate Division.
Ms. Serden oversees the division's Headquarters Real Estate Group, and is responsible for construction lending, operations, and business development in the greater Los Angeles area and Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. She is based in Los Angeles.
With City National since 1995, Ms. Serden previously served as a senior vice president and team leader in the Real Estate Division, where she earlier was a vice president and senior relationship manager. She is a recipient of the bank's Blue Ladder and President's Circle outstanding performance awards.
Before that, she was a commercial mortgage division manager at Union Bank of California, where she began her banking career in 1981. She also served as vice president and regional manager of its Southern California real estate special assets group. She earlier held a variety of team leader, relationship manager and lending positions. She is a graduate of Union Bank's management training (credit/lending) program, and received that bank's President's Award in 1993.
Ms. Serden earned a bachelor's degree from the University of San Diego. She also completed the Paralegal Training Program, with a specialization in real estate and litigation, at the University of San Diego School of Law.
Ms. Serden is a sustaining board member of the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate, the executive board of Leading Women at the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate, and the advisory council of the Center for Real Estate in the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge. She also serves on the board of directors of the Los Angeles chapter of Lambda Alpha International, an honorary land economics society.
She is a recognized industry expert, and was a featured speaker at Lambda Alpha's Special Speaker Series, the 2010 Valley Economic Summit, and UCLA Ziman Center's Leading Women Capital Markets Panel.
A resident of Beverly Hills, Ms. Serden served as chair and vice chair of the Beverly Hills School District's Measure K (Proposition 39) Citizen's Oversight Committee. She is a former member of the board of directors of the Beverly Hills Education Foundation.
