Michael Moskowitz, one of the founding partners of Ensemble, has been involved in commercial real estate for over 30 years. Mr. Moskowitz began his career in real estate as an Owners' Representative, managing large‐scale development projects in Southern California. Since forming Ensemble in 1990, he has been active both as a Managing Director of the company as well as taking the lead on many acquisition and development projects in multiple states. In the healthcare real estate sector, Mr. Moskowitz oversaw the development of the Saint Mary's center for health in Reno, Nevada, a very high-profile project anchoring this historically important hospital campus with a new entrance, landscaped plaza, 1,100 space parking garage, and over 200,000 square feet of clinical and wellness center space. Other healthcare projects of note include the development of hundreds of thousands of square feet of medical office space on multiple UHS hospital campuses in Las Vegas, Nevada, including the Summerlin and Centennial Hills medical centers and the 80,000 square foot Canyon Springs Medical Plaza in Gilbert, AZ. Mr. Moskowitz has been the "Principal in‐Charge" for the development and acquisition of numerous medical office and outpatient facilities in California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, and Texas.
In addition to his work in the healthcare real estate, Mr. Moskowitz has also been active in the hospitality and office sectors, working as a principal on numerous projects in California and Pennsylvania, including the acquisition and redevelopment of the World Trade Center in Long Beach, CA, a project with over 500,000 square feet of office and retail coupled with a 395 room Hilton Hotel, the redevelopment of the 200‐room Maya Hotel, a Doubletree by Hilton, in Long Beach, CA, the development of the 178 room Residence Inn in Long Beach, CA, remodel of the Doubletree Hotel in Carson, CA, renovation and expansion of the Dream Inn Hotel in Santa Cruz, CA, and the current development of the 172 room Courtyard by Marriott at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia, PA.
Mr. Moskowitz serves as a Managing Director at both Ensemble Real Estate Solutions and Ensemble Investments, where he works actively on new healthcare and hospitality development projects as well as general corporate management.
Mr. Moskowitz is a licensed real estate broker in California and Nevada. He has served as a supporting member of the Scottsdale Cultural Council, Phoenix Arts Museum, and Phoenix Children's Hospital Leadership Circle; is the outgoing Vice Chairman of Friends of Public Radio; and former Community Advisor of the Junior League of Phoenix.
Mr. Moskowitz earned his Bachelor of Arts, with a major in architecture at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. He received his Masters of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Real Estate and Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles, California.
Michael lives in Newport Beach, CA and enjoys spending time with his wife and extended family and friends, cooking, traveling, reading and photography.
