Marc L. Benezra


Marc Benezra is a Partner in the Los Angeles office of BakerHostetler. Trained as a transactional real estate lawyer and then serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel to The Stanford Ranch Company, Marc counsels public and private clients in a wide variety of real estate and corporate matters, including litigation, partnership disputes, workouts and restructurings. Marc is widely regarded for his expertise in defending solvent guarantors and conduit borrowers in connection with distressed assets/loans and aggressive special servicers. He is committed and sensitive to his clients' unique situations and needs.

Marc has been recognized as a Southern California "Super Lawyer," in the National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals and in Madison's Who's Who Among Executives and Professionals.

Marc has participated in a variety of civic organizations, including New West Charter High School: Founder; Los Angeles Jewish Community Relations Committee: Past Executive Board Member; Israel & World Jewry Commission: Chair; National Board of the UJC/JCPA Israel Advocacy Committee; and Exceptional Children's Foundation: Board Member.

Marc received his B.A. from UCLA, his M.B.A. from UCLA's Anderson School of Management (formerly known as UCLA's Graduate School of Management) and his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law.
