Bringing over 43 years of experience to Walker & Dunlop, Eric Salveson, senior vice president, is responsible for origination, analysis and placement of commercial real estate debt and equity.  Mr. Salveson joined Walker & Dunlop through the acquisition of Johnson Capital where he held similar management positions.

Prior to joining Johnson Capital, Mr. Salveson served as director of capital markets for East West Bank.  Before East West Bank, Mr. Salveson held management roles with Metmor Financial (MetLife),  AMI. Inc., American Property Financing (APF).  Eric began his career in financial real estate in 1971 with the Ralph C. Sutro company which was a pioneer in the commercial real estate finance business at the time.

Mr. Salveson received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a minor in economics from Stanford University, and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
