is the first smart otoscope that uses AI to diagnose ear infections at home.
Founder Jane Zhang saw the need for this device when her young son suffered from recurring ear infections, and one severe episode that took 4 lines of antibiotics and 6 weeks to resolve. After talking to many more parents, we discovered that Jane was not alone, and parents were eager to track symptoms at home. MiVUE provides transparency into ENT symptoms and will one day be able to diagnose ear infections at home. MiVUE was awarded the $25,000 Muse Innovation Fellowship for technology and placed 3rd in the Knapp Venture Competition.
Our mission is to empower patients, especially parents of sick children, through sensing and understanding their child's health. MiVUE leverages advanced deep learning and biosensors to achieve this diagnosis.
is a "social impact" startup with a burning determination to develop & commercialize mobile apps for developmental disabilities worldwide.
The inspiration behind Chronaly was the founders' background (healthcare, technology, startups) plus personal experiences -- where one of the founders has a brother with autism.
Our company plans to make a portfolio of mobile apps that provide individuals with developmental disabilities (such as autism) and their Care Community (doctors, therapists, parents, teachers, caregivers, & others who work with them) better therapy, treatments, & health outcomes. At the core of every app we make resides big/complex data, machine learning, artificial intelligence, actionable intelligence. We envision, among other things, establishing a connected app platform that would provide us with more opportunities to make money by "opening" our insights model, Chrona, to other developers & parties to assist all parts of an autistic individual's life (e.g., speech or occupational therapy progress). Our near-term focus is autism within the U.S. with a projected market size of $1.3 billion.
is a company striving to find a cure to bruxism, a repetitive jaw muscle activity characterized by the clenching and grinding of teeth.
Pablo Osorio Martini initially had the idea for BruxA after realizing that there was no way to see if the treatments he was recommended for his Biruxism were working.
As a first step, BruxA will develop a smart mouthguard that protects teeth while gathering data on sleep bruxism using embedded electronics. With this data, users will be able to track the effectiveness of treatments recommended to reduce bruxism. BruxA will also use this data to optimize future product development to treat bruxism.

develops machine-learning software to analyze medical images, providing diagnosis reports for radiologists and doctors to utilize.
Error rates are about 30% when abnormal images are reviewed. 42% of errors is because radiologists fail to see what is there. This project is important to me because our software can reduce unnecessary medical costs for patients and reduce diagnosis error.

is a Korean food consumer packaged goods company focusing on an e-commerce strategy during its early stages of growth.
The company's mission is to bring people together and uplift spirits by sharing Korean food and flavors with America. Our beachhead product is KPOP Sauce, a Korean chili sauce based on a family recipe.
In response to the growing demand of Korean and ethnic flavors nationwide, KPOP Foods aims to be the premier Korean food brand for America. Differentiating itself through its brand and distribution model, KPOP Foods not only educates consumers through fun and engaging content across social media platforms, but also creates quality products that are authentic and easily accessible.
KPOP Sauce launched on Kickstarter and is now the #1 new release and most wished for products in chili sauces on Amazon; it has also earned the honorary badge of “Amazon’s Choice”.
Growing up as Korean Americans, founders, Theo and Mike, were each fortunate to have families that loved and celebrated Korean food. Their family members would spend endless amounts of time preparing every meal, whether it was for two, or twenty people. Every meal was special. Every meal was a celebration. At UCLA, Theo and Mike became good friends through a mutual love for Korean food (and soju, of course). They shared their passion with new friends, who soon became obsessed with the flavors and experience of eating Korean food. Understanding that their friends loved Korean food as much as both of them, they created KPOP Foods to spread Korean food and flavors to America, and promote the experience of bringing people together and having fun.Check out K-POP Foods website here.
