CALL FOR PAPERS
Research in Entrepreneurship: Bridging Theory and Practice
Conference at UCLA Anderson School of Management
June 22-24, 2005
The Harold Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at UCLA Anderson School of Management and the Said Business School at Oxford University invite faculty, researchers and doctoral students to submit research papers for presentation at an inaugural Empirical Research in Entrepreneurship Conference to be held in Los Angeles, California, June 22-24, 2005.
We invite cutting-edge research that advances the understanding of entrepreneurship at a level that has potential to significantly enhance the performance of entrepreneurial practice and/or policy. Submissions must be original research papers that have not yet been published, or accepted for publication. The conference will be a blend of theory and practice with an emphasis on empirical research in entrepreneurship.
Papers should focus on research topics such as managing entrepreneurial growth, the start-up of new ventures, or organizational scale-up. Papers on the topic of the role of science and technology in entrepreneurship can also be submitted for a session mixing academic and practitioner contributions in this unique area.
Please send your submissions by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for submissions is April 1, 2005. Authors whose papers are selected will be notified by then end of April.
The conference will pay reasonable transportation, meals and lodging expenses for one presenter per paper.
Contributions to top presenters are possible thanks to generous support from our sponsors. These will include:
- Award for notable contribution to Entrepreneurship literature ($5,000)
- Doctoral Dissertation (completed or in progress) Award for notable contribution to Entrepreneurship literature ($1,000)
