As part of our mission to present, discuss and disseminate leading concepts in the management of media, entertainment and sports, MEMES produces and participates in several events throughout the year.
ANNUAL PULSE EVENT
The annual PULSE Conference is a tentpole event for MEMES, bringing together 400 students, alumni, and industry professionals to discuss the most pressing trends and issues impacting the entertainment and sports industries. Noted participants include Ron Meyer, President and COO of Universal Studios; Anne Sweeney Co-Chairman, Disney Media Networks and President, Disney
A week-long knowledge networking series that brings together over 1,500 industry professionals, students, and alumni from several of UCLA's leading professional schools. MEMES Week promotes a strong industry culture and community among UCLA students.
GATEKEEPER SPEAKER SERIES
Launching Fall 2012 in partnership with the Entertainment Management Association, this sequence will showcase noted executives who hold the keys to progress and profit in entertainment, media and sports.
DIGITAL HOLLYWOOD
The Center for MEMES is collaborating to develop content and participate in Digital Hollywood events at the Ritz Carlton, Marina Del Rey. The conference unfolds over four days and boasts attendance of more than 2,300 industry professionals.
