William L. Davis is a financier, industrialist and real estate owner and developer. He has provided key insight and knowledge to high-profile, highly successful financial transactions. As a sole proprietor, he specializes in the conceptualization, development and realization of large-scale, innovative projects.
Davis has spearheaded the growth of numerous companies in the fields of transportation, oil exploration, cable television, agriculture and real estate holdings in California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Mexico and Arizona. One of the largest farmers in California, he has extensive farm holdings throughout the state.
Davis has served as officer, director and principal of many corporations including B&B Land Corporation, Davis Broadcasting Corporation, Pacific Sod Farms, and Pacific Green Corporation. In 1966 he founded Davis Communications, a cable television firm and served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer until the company sold in 1981. He served on numerous boards and currently is a trustee on the board of Aspen Institute.
Davis received his degree from Stanford University.
