Leland Sun

Leland Sun founded Pan Asian Mortgage Company Limited as an innovative financial services company, specializing in mortgage origination and capital markets financing. Since 2002, the
firm has pioneered a variety of new mortgage products in HongKong to broaden the choices of inancing options for both existing and prospective homeowners.

Sun has more than 20 years of primary and secondary mortgage market expertise in Asia and the United States directly involved in the structuring, trading and distribution of mortgage-backed securities globally. In 1997, Sun was appointed by the financial secretary of the Hong Kong SAR government as the first chief operating officer of the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation (HKMC). Previously, Sun was a senior managing director with Bear Stearns Asia Ltd. and an executive director with Goldman Sachs (Asia) Ltd. responsible for Greater China fixed-income distribution and capital markets.

Currently, Sun is an independent non-executive director of New Heritage Holdings Ltd. (member of the Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Limited). He is a member of the executive committee (treasurer) and board of governors at the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Sun also serves on the general committee (finance convenor) at the Hong Kong Golf Club and is an executive committee member at the American Club.

Sun is a graduate of UCLA Anderson School of Management (1986) and San Diego State University.
