John Casaudoumecq is based in San Francisco and retired from Citigroup in June, 2010. Throughout his career at Citigroup and Salomon Brothers, Mr. Casaudoumecq held a variety of leadership positions in government bonds, interest rate derivatives, commodities, electronic trading and technology functions.
Mr. Casaudoumecq served as a member Citigroup's Global Markets Management Committee, European Markets Management Committee and from 2003 to 2006 was Global Fixed Income's Chief Operating Officer. As Managing Director and Global Head of Commodity trading, sales & research, Mr. Casaudoumecq restructured and built the Commodity business from a small boutique to an integrated and diversified trading, sales, and capital markets effort. During his tenure, Citigroup established a top 5 position in commodity derivatives and won several industry awards.
Mr. Casaudoumecq led Citigroup's investment in and served on the Board of i-Deal (now Ipreo), Markit Partners, FxAlliance, as well as other electronic trading and information companies.
He currently serves on the Advisory Board to the Fink Center for Finance & Investments at UCLA's AndersonSchool of Management and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. Mr. Casaudoumecq holds an A.B. in Economics from Dartmouth College and a M.B.A. from the Anderson School of Management, UCLA.
