While beginning his MBA at Anderson, Sandip has been working par t-time at a newly-formed investment partnership based in Miami, FL, reviewing opportunities in small and mid-cap banks within the fund's value, tactical and special situations books. Immediatel y prior to Anderson, Sandip was a senior analyst at The Endicott Group in New York City, an asset management firm specializing in equity investments in financial institutions, primarily U.S. community banks. H e was responsible for various stages of investment research and diligence across Endicott's Opportunit y Funds between 2011 and 2014. Prior to Endicott, Sandip was an investment banking analyst in the Fina ncial Institutions Group at Lazard Frères & Co., also based in New York City, from 2009-2011. Sandip beg an his career on Wall Street in fall 2008 as a high yield credit research analyst at Merrill Lyn ch, covering the consumer and utility sectors. He is a magna cum laude graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, holding a Bachelor of Science in Economics with concentration in Finance.
Alexandre Bibi is pursuing his MBA with a concentration in Finance - Investment Management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Prior to business school, Alexandre worked at Thomson Reuters Financial & Risk in New York City. He began his career supporting sovereign bond and interest rate derivative analytics for clients of Thomson Reuters' fixed income trading platform. Alexandre led the effort to consolidate several liquidity venues and analytics platforms into a single trading application for U.S. agency mortgage-backed securities, resulting in his promotion to product manager. In this capacity he was responsible for the strategic direction of the mortgage-backed securities trading platform, reaching over 900 mortgage banks across the U.S. He also managed the development effort for new trade-decision support and risk management tools. At UCLA Anderson, Alexandre is a first-year director of the Anderson Investment Association. He has passed all three levels of the CFA program and hopes to pursue a role in credit research/fixed income portfolio management after business school. Alexandre graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, CT in 2010 with a B.A. in Economics.
Brian Shen is pursuing his MBA with a concentration in Finance - Investment Management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a director of the Anderson Investment Association. Before business school, Brian spent four years as an equity research associate at Brandes Investment Partners on the financial institutions team. Brian graduated from UC Berkeley in 2010 with degrees in Business Administration and Economics, and was awarded the CFA designation in 2014.
