Fink Center is committed to supporting research and the practice of finance in the Anderson community.

In order to fulfill this commitment, we select three types of fellows each year: MBA Fellows, Ph.D. Fellows and Faculty Fellows. We provide our fellows with financial support as well as valuable mentorship resources.

Current Fellows

Harshvardhan Chowdhary
Investment Banking

Harsh Chowdhary is pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in finance at UCLA Anderson. Prior to arriving at Anderson, Harsh was a Senior Analyst at Cornerstone Research in Los Angeles. At Cornerstone, Harsh worked on building economic damages models to support expert witnesses in corporate litigation matters.

Prior to Cornerstone, Harsh was an auditor in Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Office, where he served banking and private equity clients. This summer, Harsh will be working at Goldman Sach's Los Angeles office for the Western Region Advisory team.

Max Levenstein
Investment Banking

Max Levenstein is pursuing an MBA at the UCLA Anderson with an emphasis on Finance. Prior to attending Anderson, Max worked as a project manager for Chicago based Northern Trust Bank and W.W. Grainger, focusing on data driven operational improvements. Max graduated from the University of Michigan in 2012 with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science.

At Michigan, Max was an active member of the Michigan Marching Band’s Alto Saxophone section, rooting on the Wolverines every Saturday in the Big House. At UCLA Anderson, Max is a First Year Director of the Investment Finance Association and a member of the Anderson Real Estate Association.  Max will be spending his summer working for Moelis and Company in Los Angeles.

Michael Santia
Investment Banking

Michael Santia is pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in finance at UCLA Anderson. Prior to arriving at Anderson, Michael was an Assistant Vice President in Franklin Templeton Investments’ private wealth management group. At Franklin Templeton, Michael was responsible for trading implementation, portfolio analytics, and the development of relationships with individuals, families, and foundations.  

This summer, Michael will be working for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in its New York office. Michael graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Santa Clara University, where he was a member of the Varsity Baseball Team. At UCLA Anderson, Michael is a member of the Investment Finance Association and the Anderson Ski & Snowboard Club.

Nicholas Bender
Kayne Investment Management

Nicholas Bender is pursuing his MBA with a concentration in Finance - Investment Management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a member of the Investment Finance Association, and a first-year director of the Anderson Investment Association. This summer, Nick will be working in corporate credit research for Trust Company of the West (TCW).

Prior to attending Anderson, Nicholas was a Research Analyst for Wunderlich Securities, where he was responsible for coverage of equities in the Transportation sector. He began his career with Lehman Brothers in securitization banking, and moved to equities trading at Barclays Capital, where he assisted in the build-out of the small cap trading desk. Nicholas graduated summa cum laude from American University in 2008, and is a CFA charterholder.

Paige Kolesar
Kayne Investment Management

Paige Kolesar is pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in Finance at UCLA Anderson. Prior to Anderson, Paige was a Project Manager at Northern Trust in Chicago, IL where she managed several software development projects as part of a company-wide initiative to improve profitability. Before being promoted to Project Manager, she completed Northern Trust’s Rotation Development Program, rotating through five front office and internal positions across the company.  This summer, Paige will be interning at Dimensional Fund Advisors in its Financial Advisor Services internship in Austin. 

At Anderson, Paige is a first year Director of Investment Management for the Investment Finance Association and Chief of Staff to the EVP in the Women’s Business Connection. She graduated from the University of Michigan where she earned her B.A. in Economics. Paige served as a research assistant at the Ross School of Business for over two years. She is the co-author of a published academic paper in Economics.

Sam Silverson
Kayne Investment Management

Sam Silverson is pursuing his MBA with a concentration in Finance – Investment Management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a first-year director of the Anderson Investment Association and the Asian Management Students Association. This summer, Sam will be joining the Value Investing team at OppenheimerFunds.

Prior to UCLA Anderson, Sam was a senior investment associate at Liberty Mutual Investments. As a member of the Public Equity group, he supported senior analysts with fundamental equity research and conducted macro research for the team’s asset allocation decisions. Before joining Liberty Mutual, Sam worked in operations roles at GMO LLC and State Street. He graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Finance and was awarded the CFA designation in 2013.

Graham Infinger
Brown Private Equity and Alternatives

Graham Infinger is pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in finance at UCLA Anderson. Prior to Anderson, he worked in investor relations at Bain Capital Partners, where he focused on business development and fundraising in the firm’s global private equity group.

While at Bain Capital, Infinger worked on all aspects of the successful $6.5 billion capital campaign, forming the firm’s eleventh global private equity fund. Prior to Bain Capital, he worked as a management consultant at Booz & Company (now PwC’s Strategy&), where he advised some of the world’s largest energy, chemical and utility companies on mergers and acquisitions, market entry and growth strategies, and operations. Infinger graduated from Harvard College with an A.B. in economics. He was a four-year member of the Harvard Varsity Track and Field team, competing in the long jump and short sprints. He currently serves on the board of the Friends of Harvard Track and Field, where he chairs the fundraising committee. At UCLA Anderson, Graham is a member of the Investment Finance Association, the Outdoor Adventure Club and the Anderson Wine Club. He lives in Santa Monica with his wife, Hilary, who is also in the UCLA Anderson MBA class of 2016.

Grady Miller
Brown Private Equity and Alternatives

Grady Miller is pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in finance at UCLA Anderson. Prior to Anderson, Miller was an associate at Shamrock Capital Advisors. While at Shamrock he performed due diligence on prospective deals and was actively involved in the management of three portfolio companies: Recorded Books, Screenvision and T3 Media.

Prior to working at Shamrock, Miller was a research associate at Hotchkis and Wiley Capital Management. At Hotchkis he worked on the consumer team, where he covered both equity and high yield credits. At Anderson, Miller is a first-year director of private equity for the Investment Finance Association and a recipient of a UCLA Anderson Merit Fellowship. He graduated from Stanford University, where he earned his B.A. in international relations.
