David  C.  Hou  is  a  Founding  Partner  of  Luminous  Capital.   Luminous  Capital  is  an  independent  SEC  registered  investment  advisor  catering  to  high  net  worth  families,  public  company  executives,  and  successful  entrepreneurs  in  managing  their  personal  investment  assets.       

 David  graduated  from  UCLA  with  a  B.S.  in  Economics/Business  in  1988.   After  graduation,  he  worked  in  the  Financial  Restructuring  Group  at  Houlihan  Lokey  Howard  &  Zukin,  Inc.  as  a  financial  analyst.   David  graduated  from  the  UCLA  Anderson  School  of  Management  in  1992.   He  then  joined  the  Los  Angeles,  CA  office  of  Goldman  Sachs  in  the  Private  Client  Services  division.   In  April  1997,  David  and  his  entire  team  joined  Merrill  Lynch  and  helped  to  establish  the  Private  Banking  and  Investment  Group.   David  is  a  Director  of  the  South  Central  Scholars  Fund  and  resides  in  Pacific  Palisades  with  his  wife,  Evelyn,  and  their  two  daughters.
