Easton students actively participated in several case competitions throughout the year. Here are some of their accomplishments:

Easton student, John Mar (’14) and his fellow team members, Team 57, won the Dean’s Award for Best AMR or BCO Written Report for their work with Mercy Corps.

Easton student Chris Hatfield (‘14) and his fellow team members won the Deloitte Consulting Award for Management Consulting Achievement for their work with Chipotle Mexican Grill.

Easton student Hernandez Britto (’15) and his team were finalists in the UCLA Engineering Student Entrepreneurship Venture Competition with Cient, an educational platform that enables users to learn arts and design (e.g., video editing, graphic design, Web design) through live online sessions.
Shuhan Majid (’14) and his team were also finalists in the UCLA Engineering Student Entrepreneurship Venture Competition for Mighty Mount, a company that creates durable, autonomous camera mounts that act as robotic cameramen.
Neama Dadkhahnikoo (’14) and his team placed third in both the UCLA Engineering Student Entrepreneurship Venture Competition and the 2014 UCLA Anderson EA Conference Fast Pitch for the clean energy startup, MacroBattery (formerly Wirz Energy).

Easton students Shan Haque (’14), Eipe Koshy (’14) and their team placed second with their online platform RxCUE, which electronically sends pharmaceutical companies’ discount vouchers directly to doctors and hospitals. Quaseer Mujawar (’15), Rana Brahma (’15) and their team placed fourth with Phresh, a mobile-focused retail ecosystem. Seiichiro (Sei) Uchiyama (’14) and his team placed fifth with VuPad, a mobile augmented-reality app that lets the users see what store furniture would look like in their own space.

The Business of Science Center at UCLA hosted the 4th annual Venture Team Competition at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where six finalist teams competed for a $30,000 prize. Easton student Canybec Sulayman (’16) was a member of two finalist teams, BigFoot – Medical Monitoring Platform for Chronic Foot Ailments and Bio-Seal: PneumoGel Sealant System.
