Case Competition Overview

 

The UCLA Anderson Center for MEMES MBA Media and Entertainment Case Competition brought together teams of MBA students from top universities around the country to analyze and present a solution to a real world entertainment business problem. The UCLA Anderson Center for MEMES created this competition to provide students with a competitive learning experience and help them gain exposure to real world issues currently impacting the media and entertainment space. Teams compete for $4,000 prize money and a 2016 summer internship position with Paramount Studios*.

*Only first-year students are eligible for the internship position.

How It Works

The competition took place January 29, 2016 as part of the UCLA Anderson 2016 Pulse Entertainment, Sports & Technology Conference. Teams competed in 2 rounds, with the top teams from the first round moving onto compete in a final round presentation. Winners were selected by a blue ribbon panel of media and entertainment senior executives.
