Through the Center for Global Management, UCLA Anderson is seeking to expand its global program offerings and provide increased opportunities for alumni, as well as students, to develop an educated world view, developing a global perspective and mindset. There
is a strong desire among UCLA Anderson alumni to continue with lifelong learning and connect to the broader UCLA Anderson global alumni community.
The Alumni Global Immersion Program, managed by the Center for Global Management is designed for UCLA Anderson alumni who would like to familiarize themselves with the business environment, practices and culture of a particular country. Through a series of pre-trip sessions (video and online discussion) followed by a one week trip in-country, alumni will gain a better understanding and appreciation of the country's financial, commercial and political landscapes, as well as its culture, art and tradition. The trip will include a blend of company visits, lectures with guest speakers on the economic, business and political environment, sightseeing tours including visits to sites of historical and cultural importance, and cultural activities.
Led by a UCLA Anderson faculty member with extensive knowledge of, and experience with doing business in the host country, these trips also help alumni who might be considering investing in and doing business with international corporations better understand the environment of the host country and better take advantage of business and investment opportunities now and in the future.
