In collaboration with the UCLA Center for World Languages, the Center for Global Management offers elective courses in Business Mandarin and Business Spanish in the winter and spring quarters. Language courses have been offered for over 20 years and are becoming more popular among UCLA Anderson students.
Beginning-level courses in Chinese Language and Culture for International Business and Introductory Spanish for Business are available to full-time and fully employed MBA students in the winter quarter, and Spanish for Beginners is also offered in the spring quarter. Continuation classes for both are offered during the spring quarter.
Although proficiency in a foreign language is not currently a requirement of the new specialization in Global Management, language proficiency is highly recommended.
