Students who are interested in General Management roles in small or midsize firms where they are expected to “do it all” or students who like to be an effective cross-functional manager and, ultimately, an effective top executive, are encouraged to take electives that provide additional depth in the areas of finance, accounting, marketing and operations.
Students who are interested in an International Management career are encouraged to take electives that offer in-depth exposure to international business practices, culture, and language. In addition, we recommend electives that provide additional depth in the areas of finance, accounting, marketing and operations.
The specialized career path in Technology Management prepares the student to manage in the new Information Economy. It addresses the role of technology in general, and information technology, in particular, in helping to forge new products and organizational forms for the 21st Century.
