Designed to lead students through the field of management science/operations research and its application in contemporary business operations, with the emphasis on problem modeling. This course will complement the Managerial Model Building class by providing in depth study of the most popular stochastic models used in management science. Its main topics include Dynamic Programming, Transportation, Transshipment and Assignment Models, Inventories, Decision making under uncertainty, Forecasting techniques and Simulation.
