Dear Friends,

For those of you who downloaded or read online the inaugural issue of Assets Digital, welcome back. And for new readers who've downloaded the Assets' iPad app for the first time, we hope you enjoy the new format.

The main feature, "Building a Better Brand," takes you through our recent branding process and the search for the Anderson brand essence, which is far deeper than a new logo or tagline (though we did ultimately create both). Our new brand captures our DNA, and the way in which various stakeholders embody the spirit of "Think in the Next."

Thinking in the next is reflected also in our FEMBA part-time hybrid option, a blended model of education that mixes online learning with classroom experience. FEMBA hybrid flips the learning experience–lectures at home, cases and team work in class–shifting the pedagogical experience to one emphasizing knowledge learning online, and experiential learning in the classroom. The flexibility enabled through hybrid-learning attracts a somewhat different mix of students–including doctors, dentists, sole business proprietors, members of the military, individuals with different family needs–who would otherwise have great difficulty attending a "regular" FEMBA program. The program also draws from a wider geographic area and mix of employers. This is yet another way to enhance the diversity of the overall student body.
