SenSage, Inc. announced the appointment of Charlie Ryan ('94) as chief financial officer. Charlie brings more than 22 years of strategic financial expertise to SenSage. He joins the company from HP, where he served as vice president of strategy and corporate development for HP's Services Business and recently managed the $14 billion acquisition of Electronic Data Systems.

Prior to HP, Charlie led corporate development for VeriSign, where he completed numerous acquisitions in the security and content management space, including the $130 million acquisition of GeoTrust. Before that, Charlie held the title of chief financial officer for IFILM, a digital media company that was subsequently sold to Viacom. While at IFILM, Charlie helped raised over $45 million of private equity and completed six acquisitions that contributed a majority of the company's revenue.
Charlie also spent more than 10 years as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, where he executed over $300 billion of M&A transactions, equity and debt offerings and strategic advisory services. Charlie holds an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
