Career Programs Coming to You, By Alumni Career Services

Based on the success of the career panel and Birkman workshop in NYC, Alumni Career Services is creating similar career programs in other areas:

March 24 – Bay Area Executive Job Search Panel
March 25 – Bay Area Birkman Workshop
March 27 – Orange County Career Transitions Program with speaker Kathy Ullrich ('92), Associate Director of Alumni Career Services
April 1 – Los Angeles Career Panel
April 2 – Los Angeles Birkman Method Workshop

A similar career panel for San Diego will also be forming on April 21. Plus, weekly "Ask the Career Expert" dial-in teleconferences and, starting soon, Executive Career Transition Teams in LA, OC, Bay Area and NYC.

April 22 - "Suits and Sports Breakfast" Featuring Keynote Rick Neuheisel

NeuheisalThe UCLA Anderson Alumni Network has arranged a special networking breakfast to be held in the press room at the UCLA Athletics building on campus. Rick Neuheisel will be the keynote speaker. Other speakers include Terry Tumey ('93), who in addition to being an Anderson alumnus was a 3-time all-conference nose guard for the Bruins in the 80's and is now Director of Football Administration for the San Francisco 49ers, and former starting QB Cory Paus. ChenaultThe UCLA Anderson School of Management is presenting a special dinner and program honoring Kenneth I. Chenault, chairman and chief executive officer of American Express Company, as the second annual recipient of the John Wooden Global Leadership Award. President & CEO of Volkswagen of America Tells UCLA Anderson His Firm Continues to Invest During Tough Times

JacobyStefan Jacoby, president and CEO of Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. addressed a filled-to-capacity Korn Convocation Hall, as part of UCLA Anderson School of Management's "Distinguished Speaker Series."

Jacoby touched on some of the challenges facing the automobile industry and his views on potential solutions, while describing Volkswagen Group's growth strategy, its sustainable mobility platform and the company's decision to invest $1 billion in a new U.S. plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
