Developers Diversified Realty Corporation announced Mark Bratt ('86) will join the Company as executive vice president & chief investment officer.
Developers Diversified president & chief executive officer, Daniel B. Hurwitz, said, "Mark is an accomplished real estate professional with extensive experience at outstanding institutions. His vast knowledge of our business and impressive reputation within the institutional capital market will be a tremendous addition to our senior management team."
In this role, Bratt will direct the company's continued strategy of disposing of non-prime assets and selectively acquiring properties that improve the Prime Portfolio. Mr. Bratt will be responsible for initiating relationships with new institutional capital partners, and will work to further advance relationships with existing partners. Bratt will also serve on the company's executive and investment committees.
Most recently, Bratt served as executive director, acquisitions and portfolio management for Morgan Stanley Real Estate. Bratt's additional previous industry experience included serving as principal, acquisitions for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments; director of asset management for Amresco Advisors; and vice president for Prentiss Properties.
Bratt earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Berkley; and an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson.<< More News
