Mark Carroll ('94) has joined Braintree, Mass.-based commercial real estate development and construction firm Campanelli Companies as Senior Director of Asset Management.
Carroll comes to Campanelli Companies from Slate Island Capital, a company he founded in December 2008. Slate Island Capital provides real estate advisory services and helps new ventures access alternative capital sources.
In addition to founding Slate Island Capital, Carroll has acted as Vice President of Acquisitions for Sovereign Investment Co., where he established a northeast office in the Boston area and was responsible for sourcing and underwriting real estate sale leaseback transactions on the east coast. Additionally, Carroll has held the position of Vice President at both STAG Capital Partners and United Gulf Management where he worked on acquisitions, joint venture development activities, sale leaseback transactions, fund structuring and portfolio management.
Carroll received his MBA from UCLA in 1994 and attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1988. Carroll is a licensed real estate broker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and currently resides in Hingham, MA.
