Deputy CEO, J.P. Morgan Limited


Emilio Saracho is Deputy CEO of J.P. Morgan for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).  Based in London, he has more than 30 years experience in investment banking. 

A Fulbright scholar, Emilio has been an integral part of the investment banking landscape in the region since beginning his career in 1980 at Chase Manhattan's Investment Bank, a heritage firm of J.P. Morgan, working in Madrid and London.   Before being appointed to his current position, he was head of Investment Banking for EMEA.   Emilio left JPMorgan in 1985 returning 13 years later as president of Spain and Portugal across the Investment Bank, Asset Management and Treasury & Securities Services. He became CEO of J.P. Morgan's Private Bank for EMEA in 2006.   During his time away from J.P. Morgan, he established Santander de Negocios, with three partners and was co-head of Goldman Sachs' Spanish and Portuguese operations.   Emilio has a B.A. in economics from Universidad Complutense Madrid and an M.B.A. from UCLA.
