The Fink Center and the Office of Alumni Relations are honored to host Howard Marks, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of Oaktree Capital Management, for an exclusive Worldwide Welcome Weeks conversation with Interim Dean Alfred E. Osborne.

A highly respected Wall Street investor, Marks will provide practical insight into and keen analysis of how to understand, track and react to the ups and downs of the stock market. In his new book, Mastering the Market Cycle: Getting the Odds on Your Side, Marks reveals the hidden logic in carefully pinpointing market trends so that investors have the opportunity to improve their results.

A special book sale and signing, plus a networking reception, will follow the conversation. This landmark event will also be simultaneously live streamed to Worldwide Welcome Weeks events in San Francisco and Seattle.

Howard Marks is co-founder and co-chairman of Oaktree Capital Management, a Los Angeles–based investment firm with over $120 billion in assets. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the Wharton School and an MBA in accounting and marketing from the University of Chicago.
