UCLA Anderson alumni, students, parents of UCLA Students and guests are invited to join Executive Vice President of Nestlé S.A., Nestlé Business Excellence, Chris Johnson and the Dean of the UCLA Anderson School of Management, Judy Olian, for dinner and an evening of lively conversation in Zurich.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Chris Johnson (Occidental College ’83 and UCLA Anderson ’88) has spent over 33 years with Nestlé, the world’s leading food and beverage company. Chris has held positions across various businesses and functions in the US, Japan, France, Taiwan and Switzerland. He is a member of the Executive Board and is currently responsible for Nestlé Business Excellence. Chris will speak about the seismic developments in the food industry in Europe.

Dean Olian will update the UCLA Anderson community in Switzerland on what’s happening at UCLA Anderson, the new Marion Anderson building that will break ground in October, and new course offerings in data analytics and finance. Dean Olian looks forward to celebrating UCLA Anderson’s success with the UCLA Anderson community in Switzerland as part of an ongoing dialogue about how UCLA Anderson can continue to offer compelling and career enhancing course offerings to prospective Swiss students and attendees.

About Dean Judy Olian

Judy D. Olian, Ph.D. is the eighth dean of UCLA Anderson School of Management and John E. Anderson Chair in Management. She began her appointment in January 2006 after serving more than five years as dean and professor of management at the Smeal College of Business Administration at Pennsylvania State University, and professor and senior associate dean at the Smith School at the University of Maryland.

Under her leadership, UCLA Anderson has hired a record number of faculty, launched new global degree and certificate programs, and initiated and developed targeted partnerships in Asia and Latin America. Recently, UCLA Anderson became the first self-supporting school at the University of California.

Under her leadership the School has raised almost $325M to support innovative programming and management thought leadership, and to advance UCLA Anderson as one of the leading schools of management in the world. (More...)
